1.       Welcome and Opening Remarks

Since due notice of the meeting had been given and a quorum was present, the meeting of the Council of the Federation of Canadian Dentistry Student Associations (FCDSA) to order at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the Salon des Gouverneurs of the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, Quebec City, Quebec. Ms. Julie Delcorde (Toronto ’18) acted at Chairperson and Ms. Donna Bierko acted as Recording Secretary.  The agenda was accepted as circulated.

2.       Committee Appointments for 2017-2018

The Council considered a slate of volunteers for membership on the various FCDSA committees:

 3.      Resolutions from FCDSA Planning Session (June 14, 2017)

There were no resolutions presented from the FCDSA Planning Session. 

4.      Other Business

Ms. Delcorde reviewed the preliminary budget for the conference.  

5.      Next Meeting

As determined by the Council during the Annual General Meeting held June 13, 2017, the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the FCDSA will be held in conjunction with the 2018 Canadian Dental Student Conference in Toronto, Ontario, from January 11-14, 2018. The exact date of the meeting will be determined by the Executive.

6.       Adjournment

As there was no other business to discuss, the meeting ended at 3:10 p.m.
